This course provides students with the practical skills, knowledge and qualification required in order that they can programme using HTML (HyperText Markup Language) and become competent in the design, authoring and maintenance of a Dreamweaver® derived website.
The Dreamweaver® Certified Developer qualification is the perfect choice for showing employers that you have the skills to develop websites using Dreamweaver®.
The complete course of training is a maximum of 1 year of study according to previous experience, pace, pattern and time. No previous knowledge is required as foundation training is given as part of the course but good practical experience of using applications such as word processing, e-mail and Internet browsers is desirable.

This qualification shows employers that you have the skills and knowledge required to develop and produce websites in a Dreamweaver® environment.
We have used IT Professionals working in the industry to author a series of four study books (Two foundation modules and two Dreamweaver® modules) covering the syllabus of the Dreamweaver® Certified Developer course The final book culminates in a work-based practical project that adds a 'real-world' experience to the Study.
Working through the books introduces the concepts of web authoring from basic HTML to using the Dreamweaver® interface. Each topic is supported by practical exercises to reinforce the topics covered and build the skills required to become competent in using the application.
We have our own learning and management system called the Virtual Training Centre or VTC which comprises an on-line learning system that delivers interactive learning resources via any Internet connection. From here students can access elements of their training to support and reinforce the topics covered in the study books. The areas available are: -
We offer full support for all programme routes comprising e-mail support to a tutor with a maximum 3 day response to all learning queries, tutor initiated telephone support if query response requires it and VTC help elements of forum, chat room and FAQs.

Exams are included on most programme routes. Check with your selection advisor for clarification and details of the optional 'Exam Pack' if required.
Dreamweaver® Student Edition software is included with the Dreamweaver® course. A PC running the Windows operating system is required.
