Seetec can offer bespoke testing management and planning as a single entity or in alignment with other services obtained from our suite of testing products.
Management
Testing a product will always take time. This time is not always available to the project team and quite often can be the element dropped when a project is not running to deadline. It can be seen as an easy target to gain elsewhere in the project. Of course, this is a false economy. Testing time taken away in the short term will undoubtedly resurface later on in the project (or beyond), with the time saved in the short-term often lost in the medium to long-term.
Seetec recognises this issue. Our Test management services will ensure that testing is properly planned in the project cycle, with sufficient time and resource incorporated into the processes of the project. We would work closely with your project manager/team to:
- Identify where best testing practices should be used
- Create a clear strategy of testing
- Identify how and when test cases would need to be produced
- Ensure the testing cycles are ready to run at the proposed times
- Ensure tests are carried out
- Results will be analysed and sent for evaluation to the respective party
- Follow up all outstanding testing actions
Generally, we would include this service with our planning and design service. But if you already have test plans and designs in place you are happy with but are struggling to manage the testing within your projects this service will be ideal for you.
Planning and Design
Quite often, companies will have test plans and designs they have used in the past. These can range from complex software solution designed to best test a generic piece of software, down to a single A4 sheet of paper with a few tests to run!
Seetec’s planning and design services take this into account. As part of this service, we will evaluate your current testing processes. Working with your project team, we would identify your strengths and weaknesses to decide the best testing process for you. This could be from tweaking your current processes through to the complete redesign.
The size and complexity of this challenge could vary from a matter of days to a number of weeks. Because of this we would only charge you a consultancy fee upfront to determine your current situation. A bespoke price would then be agreed in carrying out our recommendations.
We pride ourselves on our client interaction, to ensure the customer gets the product that best suites them. This is why we don’t offer a one-price-fits-all style model. Each customer will be treated uniquely, while we apply our tried-and-tested approach to testing in general.
